See below for more detail.

My Mental Health Rocks
These workshops are for 7 to 11 year olds and we use superheroes and superpowers to explain:
- What is mental health? - How it is similar to physical health, as we need to look after what goes into our mind and what we feed it.
- Calm - Finding what calms you; looking into anxiety triggers and how best to manage and recognise anxiety; giving child tools to use to get back to their calm place.
- Creativity - We are all creative beings with the ability to look at a problem creatively. In this interactive session we explore challenges and how we can use our creative minds to solve problems individually and co-operatively.
- Confidence - We all have confidence within us from the little accomplishments like brushing our hair and tying our laces, we show children that they already have the power to be confident by looking at what they've achieved so far in life.
- Resilience - Our ability to bounce back from hard situations makes us resilient in the future. We look at the need to keep trying and how the child has been resilient in the past e.g. riding a bike, passing a test. We show the children that resilience sets you up for the future and facing issues head on helps us to be resilient
- Wisdom - We need to listen to our wisdom in order to know what tools we will need use to get us through hard situations, wisdom can call on calm, creativity, confidence and resilience to get through.
